Alby Thompson is a highly seasoned buyer, retailer and visual merchandiser and is practiced at all areas of fashion from concept to production.
Alby’s background stems largely from retail having spent the last 30 years working in management, visual merchandising and buying with brands such as Jigsaw and i gigi.
Alby also spent 5 years teaching a Fashion Retail Diploma which enabled her to expand her skill set into PR, Branding, Fashion Forecasting and the history and culture of fashion.

In Woven – I’m always excited about new ideas and collections from brands, helping them to grow their potential market and develop their business.
Woven has grown organically as have the brands it represents, making for close honest working relationships that are open to ideas. I wanted to set Woven apart by creating more of a complete look in terms of style, therefore making it easier for buyers to be able to buy into more than one brand as they all fit together.
